Samantha Allen, Cinematographer

Samantha started her film career in 2010 on the Media Production course at Swindon College. Whilst at college she was given the oportunity to be Production Assistant for 'Billiam', a short film being shot locally in Swindon, where she also obtained the roles of 3rd AD as well as Sound Assistant. Through this film Samantha discovered her passion for film making.

 

Throughout the remainder of her college years she worked on numerous projects in collaboration with many local film companies as well as others from around the UK including BBC, Sky, Firebird Films, Dreambase Studios, Shout Out Productions, First Great Western and Network Rail.

 

Samantha graduated from Swindon College in 2012. Deciding to further her education, she started a Digital Film Making course at university in 2012 and continued to work on many film projects in her spare time. 

 

Samantha is equally passionate about theatre and has worked on various shows in venues such as the Bristol Hippodrome, Oxford New Theatre, Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and Swindon Wyvern Theatre and Arts Centre. These include Billy Elliot, Blood Brothers, The Commitments, Chuckles of Oz, Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None and pantomimes Aladdin 2016/17, Snow White 2015/16 and Dick Whittington 2014/15.

 

Samantha is currently working as a freelance Cinematographer / Camera Operator alongside her work in theatre. She is also continuing to make her own films under the Inferior Films umbrella.

Summer Sage, Writer

Summer started writing back in 2010 for the screen. She has a passion for drama which is expressed in her scripts. Despite never having any training or further education Summer continues to write deep, intricate screenplays. 

 

Together, Summer and Samantha have created some fascinating short films and Summer is currently working on numerous scripts for the screen including many short films, a feature film and a tv series.
